I spoke with the manufacturer of RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull Down Spout # 277-000129 and they were able to confirm the aerator is removable from the end of the pull down spout for cleaning. However, the aerator is not really designed to be a water filter and if you are having issues with sand getting into the water tank I recommend to add the water filter # CAM40631. If you're talking about the Brita filter that is connected to the end of the spout then you need a standard faucet like the Empire Faucets # EM65FR.
